Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
This technique aims to change behaviour and emotional responses. Iris works with her client to identify the behaviours and emotional responses that the client wants to change. Iris can suggest tools for practicing in and out of session to reduce the frequency, intensity and duration of the non-welcomed behaviour/emotion. Over time, clients become increasingly successful at reducing their difficulties on their own and learn to re-appropriate their lives.

Mindfulness
One of the resources that Iris offers clients is the practice of mindfulness. She has discovered first-hand how becoming more present in daily life allows for deeper relaxation, focus, and attunement with others. Not only does Iris bring these strengths with her into the therapy room, she also helps clients develop these skills and find greater well-being in the present moment.
Walk & Talk Therapy
Walk & Talk Therapy is a contemporary approach becoming increasingly popular in the mental health field. Just as the name implies, this is simply therapy done outside while walking, rather than sitting inside an office. Iris finds that many clients feel more comfortable while walking and are able to open up more freely to deepen their work in therapy.
