An open letter from Iris
Hello and welcome!
I’m Iris, and I’m truly honored to accompany people through both their challenges and their breakthroughs. Being a therapist is not just my profession — it’s something I deeply love and believe in. I see therapy as a collaborative journey, where we work together to help you grow, heal, and move forward. Like many, I’ve learned a lot through my own therapy, and I believe we’re all constantly evolving.
I grew up in Avignon and Paris, and life has taken me to the Caribbean, Switzerland, and now Spain — with strong ties to Morocco thanks to my wonderful in-laws. Along the way, I’ve worked in diverse settings, with couples, teenagers, and international clients, especially during my years in Paris. These experiences have shaped me as a clinician and as a person.
I’m especially passionate about supporting parents and couples — maybe because I grew up in a big, blended family where love stories were always evolving! I also love working with adolescents and have spent a lot of time in schools. My clinical training included time in psychiatry and child protection, which taught me so much about resilience and the human spirit.
I often integrate Mindfulness into my sessions — a practice that has helped me feel more present, calm, and connected in my own life. I find joy in simple things: cooking, walking by the sea, spending time with animals, and being in nature. One of my favorite ways to work is through “Walk and Talk” therapy, where sessions happen outdoors. Being in motion and surrounded by nature often helps clients feel more at ease, and allows for deeper, freer conversation.
If you feel we might be a good fit, I’d be happy to connect and explore how I can support you. And whether or not we work together, I’m glad you’re here and considering therapy — it’s a brave and meaningful step.
Warmly,
Iris
